Knox Flora grows sunflower microgreens from non-GMO, heirloom seeds harvested from open pollinated adults plants. Sunflowers are prolific growers, maturing to harvest in only 7-10 days after the shoots have developed true leaves.

Growing, growing, gone.

Seed shells pinch to the first sets of leaves & rise to the top of the canopy as the sunflower shoots grow. Typically, the seed shell will stay on the leaves until they’re strong enough to break the shell open. This allows the leaves to discard the shell & fan out to absorb more sunlight for the final days of growing.
